Louisiana Photographic Society Photographer of the Year 2015 Award
It is such an honor to be presented with the Overall Photographer of the Year - Level A - award by the Louisiana Photographic Society at tonight's Christmas Party. I have been a member of LPS since 2011 and I have become a better photographer in part because of this club. There are members of all skill levels and everyone is willing to share, teach, and give of themselves to help other photographers learn to become better. This club offers monthly meetings where there is a speaker and a photo competition. In addition to the monthly meeting there are Lagniappe classes held once a month. These are workshops or lectures, or training and critiquing sessions all offered free of charge. In addition to these monthly meetings there are other workshops and field trips held throughout the year. It is also a place to meet new friends who have a similar interest in photography. Membership fee is $25.00 annually.
Thank you LPS members for giving me the Photographer of the Year Color Print - Level A, Photographer of the Year Monotone Digital Projection - Level A, and Overall Photographer of the Year - Level A - 2015 awards!
If you are looking for a good photography club, the Louisiana Photographic Society meets the 3rd Thursdays of each month (except December) at the Main Library on Goodwood Blvd., in the large conference room at 7:00 pm. Look us up online at www.laphotosociety.com
Thanks again LPS members,
